Adventure time w/ PRO Dog Trainer!
Pet care experience
Hello! I’m Sue. I'm a Professional dog trainer turned office monkey! I work for State Farm most of the time and hang out with pups on the side. I AM CANINE CPR CERTIFIED!!!! You want a well mannered, tired and fulfilled pup? My style of walking focuses on mental enrichment as well as physical. I know how to engage your dog mentally, using positive reinforcement methods. No pain! Drop-ins and walks can be fun and educational. I used to work for Noble Beast of Denver, as a Behavior consultant/ Dog trainer. I have experience with dogs old and young, giant and tiny, friendly and not friendly at all, laid back and wild. I taught humans the fundamentals of enrichment, and the hierarchy of canine needs. I've lead group classes, one-on-ones, and canine- only social classes of 5+ dogs. Ive worked with canines safety commands, loose leash walking, calming exercises, basic obedience, and fun tricks! My passion for animals comes from my father. He loved taking in strays (along with a variety of other animals) he found and we cared for them together. I was quite a lucky kid!
Reviews
Suecia was great with Peanut, she did well under her care and I am looking forward to booking her again for my next trip. Thanks again Suecia. Peanut is missing you!
Suecia was the perfect pet sitter for our little pup! She always updated us whenever we were away and took phenomenal care of him the whole time. She stayed on his potty training schedule and helped us socialize him to be a very friendly dog. I'm pretty sure he loves her more than us!

Before being left alone with your best friend, I request a clear, thorough, written list of boundaries. I want to know what's okay and not okay for your pup. YOU KNOW YOUR DOG BEST! I want a full picture of your pup: the things they love and fear, their favorite spots, and quirky behavior! The more I know the better I can care for them.
Information Suecia M. would like to know about your pet
Here are some of the questions I like to ask: What are you house boundaries? What are your goals with Fido? Does Fido get along with other dogs? Cats? People? Children? How does Fido like his scratchies? (Tip: a lot of dogs love it on the back legs and booty) What is Fido's daily routine? (Diet, exercise, nap, etc) Does he have favorite toys? Does he take medicine? How would your describe Fido's temperament: chill, excitable, anxious, cuddly, etc. Is Fido fearful or aggressive? What is Fido reactive to? (cars, bikes, other dogs)
A typical day
I like to take dogs on a "sniffenture" where we walk through a local park and set time aside to just SNIFF! A dog sees the world through their nose. It's the most powerful sense they have. Most humans rely heavily on their eyes as the main tool to explore this big and beautiful earth; most dogs rely on their snoot. This tires your pup out by exercising their body and their mind. Mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise! Practicing basic training (sit, down, stay, etc) is an efficient and fun way to challenge your dog and yourself!

Availability
I work for State Farm part time, which allows me to pursue my passion during my available days, between 3- 7pm. On Sundays, I'm available 10-7! Interesting dog fact: Eye contact is not a way dogs show each other trust and affection. In fact, it's awfully rude in the dog world to stare! Our dogs have come to understand that eye contact with their people is an act of love. So when you're staring into your dog's big marble eyes, remember that they learned this behavior just for you!
