I grew up with multiple animals in the house at any given time. My family had 2 German Shepherds, 2 very loving cats, and a beautiful mix of rabbits, frogs, turtles, you name it! Because of this, I naturally started a veterinary technician program immediately after high school. I loved animals so much that I wanted to care for them for a living. Through a number of internships, however, I found the medical role of vet tech to be emotionally draining. Since moving to Hawaii (in 2009), I haven't been allowed to have any pets in my apartment. I miss the cuddles and companionship of having a furry friend to greet me everyday, and I would love to be there to take care of yours.
