I just love animals, I was brought up in a house full of pets, dogs, cats, budgies, hamsters, rats and mice (the tame caged type I mean) oh and we used to have hens too. When I got my own home I welcomed my first Yorkshire Terrier, then another one to keep it company. They both lived well into their teens. Since then, I have always had a dog as the house was not the same without one. I have also taken care of a various breeds of family dogs many times over the years for holidays etc. At the moment we have a 6 year old Yorkshire Terrier who we need to leave with a sitter occasionally. So, we really do understand how difficult it is when you find you have to leave your pet with a complete stranger for a while and also how important it is to make his/her time away from you as comfortable and stress free as possible. If your dog loves to have company all day, enjoys cuddles, curling up on the settee, playing in the garden and walkies, he will really enjoy staying with us and you can be assured they will never be left alone. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and can sleep in the bedroom (and on the bed too if that's what he's used to at home). PLEASE NOTE: We only ever have one dog staying with as at any one time. So you can be sure we will focus our time and effort on giving your dog all the care, comfort and attention they deserve during their stay with us at Sue's Staycation. Our daily text message with a 'brief pupdate and photo' will really help to put your mind at ease while you are away.
