Pet care experience
Pets, especially dogs, have been an important part of my life. In addition to adopting dogs from shelters and rescue organizations, I have taken care of friends' pets for extended periods of time. I believe pets bring out the best in humans and deserve to be treated with lots of love, care, and concern....and treats! I also believe pets make homes happier and more loving, and if I can make it easier for people to have pets, by knowing that they will be well cared for while they're away at work, that would be most rewarding. I lead a very active lifestyle, and would welcome walks/hikes of any distance, that are appropriate for the dog's health/age/breed. Bonus, I'm also certified in Pet CPR and First Aid!

We love Sue! She lets the dogs choose their pace -- she runs with the younger of our two large dogs and lets the older, more chill one take her time, sniff around, all that good dog stuff. <3
She's the best! She runs with our energetic dog and takes it easy with our low-energy dog. They love her, and so do we!!
Sue is an awesome dog walker. If she is available, she would be a first choice.

Our home has direct access to protected green space. We take our dog for daily walks through the extensive trails as well as visit local dog parks. I would be happy to walk dogs in their familiar neighbourhood, or pick them up and take them to various parks in the region.

I would very much love to know what your dog's preferences are. Some dogs love socializing with other dogs, and some don't (I've had both!).
A typical day
I love to take my dog for hikes where there's so much for her to explore and enjoy. I also take her to various dog parks for socializing, off-leash time, and a refreshing swim!

I have an online movement and yoga studio and teach classes in the morning, which gives me availability between 11:00 - 4:00 pm daily for dog walking/home check-in visits.
