Hello! I've been around dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, etc for many years and in my teen years, a variety of farm animals. I love being around animals and their unique energy & personalities!! I volunteer for a few local animal welfare agencies by helping with their fund raising events, newsletter, dog walking, dog transport and fostering. I'm available 7 days a week, unless I'm on vacation! I am particularly fond of & experienced with senior animals! They deserve even more love & attention in their golden years. I have reliable transportation and I'm open to either dropping by your home a few times each day or staying there, depending on the distance and timeframe I'm needed for. My husband & I are active outdoors, year round. Your pup will get as much supervised exercise as you prescribe! Safety and well-being take priority as an animal care-giver. I Make sure my home is pet-proofed for all animals. I appreciate your trust and look forward to hearing from you for a "Meet'N'Greet".

Sue was amazing with Malakai, he loved spending the day with her! She was very accommodating, communicative and kind. Sent many updates throughout the day which I loved!
Sue was so kind and caring towards my dog and I would love to book daycare with her again. My dog has separation anxiety but Sue did an amazing job at keeping her busy and provided lots of love so she was calm and happy when I picked her up. She provided lots of photos and updates and I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her.
Sue was very interested in Gigi’s needs and we felt comfortable leaving her. Sue sent updates and pictures. We will definitely use again and recommend.

I love all dogs and appreciate knowing as much as possible about them before I take care of them. Do they have any medical issues/need medication? What does your dog enjoy doing, what are they fearful of, what does a typical day and bedtime routine look like including feeding & snacks. Does your dog have any quirky habits or special needs/instructions?
A typical day
Caring for your dog, we'll go on walks, socialize with other dogs (if that's okay) and nature watch. Playtime with toys & rides in the car (to other interesting walk areas) are some other activities. If a cat is harness trained I can walk it as well outdoors. Spending one on one time with any animals in my care is a delight!

Availability
Being retired, my schedule is flexible plus I'm an early riser. Your pup can get out early for a walk or to go potty if that is their routine.
