I have had dogs all my life and run my own dog boarding business until 2010 when I had an opportunity to go to Africa, 12 years on I am back home and miss my furry friends, I live opposite Brierley Forest where there are miles of beautiful walks, lakes and meadows. I am mature and experienced, specialising in bigger breeds, I can administrate medications. I am a homeowner and can provide references. I have also been vetted and accepted to work for 2 local rescue homes as a volunteer.

I have a Springerpoo that stayed with Sue while we went on holiday. Sue communicated with us, sent photos on our dog having a great time, wouldn’t hesitate to send her again, she enjoyed her stay, Sue lives next to great walks and really gets to know the dogs she looks after.

Before accepting a dog in my home I like to do a 'meet and greet' and take the dog for a walk, observing it's behavior and recall, this is for the owners and my 'peace of mind' Where he/she sleeps at night and how well house trained he/she is .
A typical day
As I live opposite Brierley Forest Park, the variety of different walks is enormous, with meadows, lakes and woods in abundance. I have also a secure back garden for zoomies

As I am retired, pet care is my everyday routine,the morning feeding and frequent walks keeps me busy and fit, then cuddles in front of the TV to relax
