Pet care experience
My life revolves around animals, and wherever I go, I become known as "the animal girl." I grew up with a menagerie of species, started pet-sitting when I was 13, became a vet tech, and currently work in wildlife conservation. I love my family's pets more than anything and will bring that devotion to yours. Have an active dog? I'm an endurance athlete always looking for a walking/playtime buddy. A timid pet? I'm patient and gentle. Medication? I've taken care of dogs with ailments ranging from arthritis to epilepsy. I'm open to any species, age, breed, or special needs. Pet owners have told me they never have to worry when I'm staying with their pets, and, with repeat clients, the animals are happy to see me when I come back. That's my goal! I'm also happy to take out trash bins, check mail, or do other household chores that need taken care of while you're gone.

Stori was so conscience about following our instructions with our cat. He is the invisible cat but I showed her where he’d be hanging out. She was able to find him during her visits and sent pictures. He was happy when we got home and other requests were fulfilled (mail, etc).
Stori did a fantastic job taking care of our cat Monster and the house while we were away overseas for two weeks, leaving everything neat and tidy and Monster well cared-for. It really made for a restful vacation to know that everything at home was in good hands.
Stori was wonderful! The animals loved her, and she left a small footprint. She was completely responsible and trustworthy.
Stori was so good with my cats and guinea pig. They're all high maintenance and she handled them so well and followed all my instructions! Would definitely use her again!

I'm soft-spoken and calm, which I think helps animals trust me, but I'm also energetic, so we can run around the yard and be silly together.

Does your pet have any aggressive behaviors (with food, people, or dogs)? I've worked with reactive dogs. I just want to be prepared! Also, is your pet anxious? How can I make sure they stay safe?
A typical day
I want to keep your pet's routine going. If they go for daily walks, we'll do that. (I love walking with dogs!) If they need lots of playtime or rest, that's what we'll do. When watching younger pets, I also make sure to keep up with their training as owners request it.

I will only accept jobs I know I can fit into my day. Midday check-ins are challenging for me since I work full-time, but I'm available for morning and evening care.
