All Day 1 on 1 Care

Pet care experience

Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to read this! What sets me apart from other sitters on here is that I’m self employed- meaning I can spend all day looking after your loved one! On drop ins all of my attention is on your little one, making sure they get all the exercise, entertainment, and love they desire while you’re away. I also LOVE sending pictures and updates and will be diligent in keeping their regular schedule going- an essential part to decrease distress while you’re away is keeping up with their routine! I have experience with special needs animals; blind dogs, cats that need to be pilled, syringe fed, incontient, etc. if your pet has special needs, please include that information in the beginning of your message to ensure I can meet your pet’s needs. **a very important limitation of mine is that I cannot administer injectable medications** I’ve been responsible for family pet care even before I was a teen, I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter, comforting cats and dogs and introducing them to interested adopters. My schedule is very flexible, and I always like to do meet and greets before booking to check compatibility. ***Please note: I do require test walks for bigger dogs at meet and greets to ensure I can meet their needs safely, please allow time for that. My main goal in these walks is to see how they react to triggers- how strongly they pull. Side note: if you don’t have one, I recommend getting a fire extinguisher! I’m not a pyro, I just appreciate safety measures. I do have a mini portable fire extinguisher I can bring as well!

Stone was absolutely incredible. My dog can be very anxious around new people but he seemed to warm up to Stone very quickly! This was the first time i have ever used a sitter and I am so happy i found Stone. They sent me pictures everyday, excellent communication. 10/10 would recommend.

Stone is fantastic! Frequent updates, anything that we may have missed on our instructions was asked about via text and mainly Stone just seems to be great with Buddy who is kind of a sensitive guy. We were held up an extra night after missing a connecting flight because of the airline’s delay, Stone had no other commitment and extended our booking and pretty much saved the day! A huge relief

Stone was awesome from start to finish, in all of our interactions and all of their help here with my kitties. Excellent communication, instant bond with my most social cat, who is very much the barometer of the household for good or ill. Stone was consistent, reliable, good natured, and a joy to interact with. Will absolutely work with them again in the future!

I do not host in my home, but I recognize the value in leaving a work space cleaner than you’ve found it and getting outside time. I love animals and prioritize their comfort.

Information Stone W. would like to know about your pet

It’s important to know how often potty breaks are / how long they can be left alone for. I don’t really ever like to leave dogs alone for more than 4 hours, and I have cared for dogs that got let out every two. If I’m doing an extended house sit- especially one where visitors aren’t allowed (which is totally understandable!) it’s important to know ahead of time for grocery shopping/social events/appointments I may have and could adjust accordingly. Let me know if your pet has special needs or behaviors ahead of time; medications, leash tugging, certain triggers like seeing another dog or squirrel that may cause them to tug/bark so I can account for that and minimize any negative stimuli. I like to keep everything as close to their regular schedule as possible so information on feeding and walk times are also appreciated!

A typical day

I love to play with the pups I care for with games like fetch and tug. I really enjoy sunny nature walks in the park and I know they do too :)
