Pet care experience
I'm a life long animal person, rescued dogs / pets for years, have worked with disabled / senior pets, have a unique way with stubborn pets as well, former CPHS Board Member in Altoona. I treat pets, there owners and homes with respect, I was raised that way. Pets are already upset when your not home or on vacation and there comfort is just as important as ours. Having a friend or familiar face stop by makes it much easier for them to get thru the day. I've had / cared for just about every type of pet over the years like dogs, cats, reptiles, birds & more so just ask. Your pets, home & there safety are important when your away, you shouldn't have to worry.

Steven W. has watched, fed, & walked my dog numerous times in the past before he moved from my area. I was sad to see him go as I really trusted him to care for my pet. My dog had fear aggression from being abused before I rescued him. He did not like many people; however, he took to Steven right away & looked forward to him visiting our house. Steven took such good care of him & even took the time to stay & play with him in my absence. He has 3 dogs of his own & they are so well cared for & loved. He is a very trustworthy individual & just loves pets! I really could not have found a better person to give love & attention to my pet. He would be a tremendous asset to Rover.com. I've worked with many breeds, small and large so I'm comfortable with all dogs, BUT I do like to do a MEET & GREET because some dogs just don't like certain people no matter what. Some times its due to lack of socialization with other dogs or people, behavior issues or sometimes, just like us, you just don't like someone. Safety is important for your pet AS WELL as the caretaker.
A typical day
Walks around the neighborhood (use poo bags), roll in the grass, PLAY PLAY PLAY, (a tired dog is a happy dog), exorcize, smell things, bark at birds (or a rouge plastic bag blowing by) and just have FUN.
