We are Steven and Gabby, a conscientious, experienced, and attentive dog loving couple with over 5 years of experience caring for dogs in a professional setting. We thrive in an environment that promotes learning and leading, and we’ve found that dogsitting fulfills these, making it the perfect opportunity for us to give back to our community while helping us pursue our own long-term goals. We are a very active couple who lives in the Portland Area. We enjoy spending time together and in the outdoors, and are happy to live where we do. We love walking, biking, working out together, watching tv, cooking together, playing video games, and reading, and we love it when a furry friend can join us! We are both experienced dog walkers and sitters. Between the two of us, we have experience working for Friends For LIfe Animal Shelter for 5+ years, where we volunteered our time. We wore many hats including General Volunteer, Adoption Counselor, and Dog Behaviorist; working mostly with abused animals with an array of emotional and behavior disorders such as separation anxiety, jumping, mouthing/biting, and aggression. We also have experience working with dogs and cats with illness that require special attention, including leukemia, worms, and URI. We are a tag-team operation, meaning your animal will get showered with love and attention and cared for by both of us. While we care for your pet, you’ll be able to rest easy knowing that we have extensive care experience with pets of all temperaments and special needs, and will be extra attentive to the daily needs of your pet such as monitoring water consumption, and cooling down after walks. We promise to treat both you and your special friend with care!
