Pet care experience
I managed a dog daycare in Denver from July 2023 to April 2024. I was responsible for daily operations and ensuring the well-being of all furry guests. I recently left that position to start my own dog sitting business. I volunteered for a year at the Denver Animal Shelter between 2023-2024, focusing on dog socialization and walking, enhancing my understanding of various breeds and behaviors. I’m trained and certified in dog first-aid, CPR, and dog body language. I’m equipped to handle any situation and to provide the best care possible for your beloved dogs. I’m the proud Dog Dad of Zeus, a 15-year-old Yorkie, and Guinness, a 5-year-old “supermutt”. I provide them with exceptional care, and shower them with love and attention every day. My fiancée, Ana, also loves dogs, and she will be excited to meet and play with your pup.
Reviews
Steven went above & beyond taking care of our Aussie while we were out of town. The best part was how well our pup got along with Steven’s two dogs… Dakota & Guinness were instant besties! Steven also very graciously allowed us to add an extra boarding day last minute after we had a delayed flight. Dakota came home very happy & very tired :) Would recommend x1000!!!
Excellent communication, I loved getting pictures and videos during my dogs’ stay! They came home very happy and tired!
Ruby had a great day today! She played outside and played inside! Steven sent pictures and videos and kept me informed of how she was doing (this was her first time at doggie day care). I highly recommend Steven, he loves dogs and provides a safe and fun place for them.
I highly recommend Steve for anyone who wants A-1, topnotch dog care! We boarded our 12 year old dog May with Steve and he provided terrific care for her! Lots of exercise and walks, Steve provided several daily updates, videos and photos about activities and was very accommodating when our return was delayed by a couple of hours. I could tell that May really enjoyed her time with Steve and his dogs, Zeus and Guinness. You cannot go wrong with Steve's caring and enthusiastic approach to dog care. Thank you, Steve!

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, pet safety is paramount, and I take every measure to ensure a secure and comfortable environment for all furry guests. With firsthand experience in managing an escape artist like my dog, Zeus, I understand the importance of pet safety on a personal level. My fenced-in backyard is extremely secure, having invested significantly to construct a sturdy fence designed to prevent any escapes. River rocks lining the fence act as an additional barrier against digging attempts, providing extra peace of mind. Inside the house, precautions are in place to eliminate potential hazards. Baby locks on trash cans prevent access to harmful materials, while hazardous substances are kept safely out of reach. Your dog will be under constant supervision to minimize the risk of injury or escape. As a certified practitioner of dog first aid and CPR, I am equipped to handle any emergencies that may arise. My experience working at a dog daycare has instilled in me a deep understanding of maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. Water and food bowls are regularly disinfected, and my home is cleaned and tidied daily. Furthermore, my background in volunteering at the Denver Animal Shelter and working at a dog daycare have provided invaluable insights into safe interaction with dogs of all breeds and sizes, as well as managing group dynamics. Rest assured, your pet’s safety, comfort, and well- being are my top priorities, and I am dedicated to providing a nurturing and secure environment for every guest.

A typical day
A typical day in my care is tailored to suit the individual preferences and needs of your pet. Whether they’re an energetic ball of fur or a laid-back cuddlebug, there’s something for everyone in our daily routine. Some options we will have include playing fetch and running around in the spacious backyard. With its securing fencing and plenty of room to roam, it’s the perfect space for dogs to burn off energy and enjoy some outdoor fun. For those with a knack for problem-solving, brain-puzzles and interactive toys provide mental stimulation and enrichment, keeping their minds sharp and engaged. Additionally, walks in the park right by my house offer the opportunity for exploration and adventure in a safe and scenic environment. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll on the sidewalk or an energetic romp through the grass, your pet will delight in the sights, sounds and smells of the great outdoors. Of course, plenty of cuddle time and affection are woven throughout the day, ensuring your pet feels loved and cherished at every moment.
