I'm Already A Fan of Your Dog!
Pet care experience
I am an undergraduate creative writer and musician, but my love for those come to a close second of my love for dogs. I have grown up around dogs all my life. I currently live with 6 dogs. My family also fosters dogs for days or sometimes weeks at a time. I get along with dogs very naturally and have at-home experience with caring for them as far as walking, bathing and grooming, giving medicine (I had 2 past dogs that had cancer), feeding, etc. I also have experience dealing with dogs with special needs because one of my own is currently dealing with post-op removal of one her eyes, she is blind in the other, and has dealt with teeth issues that now left her with a significant struggle to eat, so we have to feed her a certain way. I am comfortable around dogs and with caring for them, and I promise you, your dog will be the happiest she/he can be with me.

I would like to know anything and everything that sets your dog apart from others: special needs, certain habits, special instructions, etc. Let me know about your dog's level of training and what type of collar you use on her/him, too. I will also need to know dietary, medical, and pet care information upon arrival. I want to be able to care for your dog in the best way possible, so knowing all about him/her is very important. I do not have any breed preferences.
A typical day
I enjoy to take walks through the neighborhood and to nearby parks and open areas. I make sure your dog has at least gone potty once (preferably one of each, depending on the time of day) before returning home. I also enjoy to take dogs out in the yard (if applicable) to run around and play. After all playtime is finished, I am pretty good at putting a dog to sleep with head pets and ear rubs.
