I've gotten to know Steve best in the last 5 years in which we have been neighbors. Steve and his wife have grown close to my wife, 2 kids, and me in that time. As many parents do, I often think we couldn't love and care for our kids any better than we do. As we have come to know Steve and his two dogs, Quincy and Ruby, I sometimes ask myself if those two dogs receive more love and better care than my kids, and I'm only half kidding. Quincy and Ruby want for nothing. They are given all the love and care a dog could want, and enjoy enough creature comforts of toys, treats, and animal accessories to make any dog jealous. More than any of this, what has long stood out to me about Steve's passion for dogs was when he decided to discontinue volunteering at a local organization that cares for dogs. As much as Steve loved working with the dogs, the organization wasn't up to his own personal standard when it came to care and attention each animal was provided. If nothing else, Steve sharing that experience with me is enough to know that he is the one you want to contact for either short term or extended care for your beloved dogs. You will be more than happy you chose to give him the opportunity.
