Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm, so animals have always been around animals. That's also where my love of dogs started. Since I met my husband 15 years ago, we've had chocolate labs. We currently have two, Mason (10) and Skye (7).

Esme was in such good hands!
So very happy to have found them to care for Esme. She was definitely happy to be with more dogs as well as a big back yard to run.
I've known Steve since 2009 and have seen how he loves and cares for his own dogs. I've also known him to dog-sit for the dogs of a couple of family members. There is no one I'd trust more with my pets.

We have a fenced in backyard that is quite large. We also take our dogs to one of the two nearby dog parks almost every day. One of our labs is diabetic, so we have to give her insulin injections twice per day. She also has cataracts, so I'm comfortable with special needs dogs.

A typical day
Physical and mental stimulation are really important. I like to be outside with pets as much as possible, playing fetch, tiug of war, etc. I know my dogs like it if you are actually engaged with them, rather than just there to watch.

I am currently a stay at home dad, caring for our infant son, who was born last September. This gives my schedule a lot of flexibility.
