Pet care experience
I've been a pet owner and dog lover all my life. Now that I work from home full-time and have a house and fenced yard, I would be happy to provide a safe and happy home-away-from-home for your pup. And my 2-year-old golden (George) and I would love to have the company.

Steven and George are absolutely incredible. They took care of my mutts for a long weekend and I couldn’t be happier. Perfect backyard for dogs. I have a rescue 2 year old lab/Pyrenees who can be a little high strung with other dogs but Steven was so good and made sure George and her became best buds. Can’t say enough about Steven.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I can accommodate. My preference is of course for very friendly dogs, because George is, but he's learned how to be with older dogs that don't like to play quite as much as he does.
A typical day
We live four blocks from the nearest Mt. Ascension trailhead, and we make hikes and walks around the South-Central neighborhood part of our daily routine.

Availability
I am a writer and magazine editor who works from home and travels very little at the moment. I have a fenced yard in a quiet Helena neighborhood, and a very well-trained golden retriever who hasn't met another dog he doesn't like. Although I work a lot, my schedule is flexible, which allows me to go on dog walks every day and to care for my pup and others throughout the day.
