Before I walk a dog I like to find out its tendencies: how does he or she behave around other dogs, people, cars, etc. This information is critical to my providing the best and safest care possible.

When walking dogs I seek out quiet, low traffic, tree lined streets or an abundant supply of grass since it provides a safer environment, away from cars and trucks. Also, for your dog's safety, dogs are prolific sniffers, inevitably putting things in their mouths that they shouldn't. I pay close attention to and keep a watchful eye on the ground to make sure your dog doesn't put anything in its mouth that can be harmful.
