Pet care experience
I grew up with and have been around dogs my entire life. To say I love dogs is a understatement. I have been a dog walker for over 25 years. I am also a zoo keeper by trade with over 25 years experience. I have worked at The National Zoo in Washington DC, The London Zoo, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, The Charles Paddock Zoo in California and at The Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. I am currently a Zookeeper at The Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence Rhode Island. I have cared for a wide variety of critters including Lions, Tiger, Bears ( Oh My ! ). I have extensive experience working Foxes, Wolves and many other small carnivores. In addition I have cared for a wide variety of small mammals, birds and reptiles. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets.

Steve is fantastic! This was my first time having non family stay with Floyd and I was able to have a relaxing Vaca knowing Floyd was happy and safe with Steve.
Gob and Steve seemed to have a good time together! There were some issues getting into my apartment complex due to the leasing office being away but Steve took it in stride. He left our place maybe cleaner than we left it, and Gob seemed pleased to have a new friend! We will absolutely book with Steve again in the future.
Steve did a fantastic job - from his first meeting to his stay with our dog, we were thrilled with his service. I would not hesitate to ask Steve to sit again.
Steve is conscientious, communicative, patient, cheerful, tidy, and went the extra mile caring for our sensitive Basenji who developed tummy troubles while we were away. So grateful. Will book him again, and happily recommend!
