I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was seven years old, and I spent my adolescence working with livestock (donkeys and goats) on my grandmother's farm. Growing up, my best friend was an energetic Cocker Spaniel named hunter. Additionally, my family has owned six cats throughout my childhood. When I'm not pet sitting, I tutor k5 - 8th grade; so I'm very accustomed to wild animals, human and otherwise! I'm a high school teacher who has the summer off. So I have plenty of time to take care of pets. My schedule is flexible, so I'm able to prioritize the needs of the animals I care for. I recently relocated to Oakland and look forward to meeting new animal friends in our neighborhood! I'm happy to commute a reasonable distance. :) I take dogs on walks and proactively play with them! But I can also be calm with older animals. I also love caring for cats!
