We have rescued all three dogs that we have owned. My neighbors also ask me to watch their cats and they have said that their one cat, an outdoor tomcat, loves me more than anyone else they have ever seen. I have gained many great clients in my time down here.In addition to cats and dogs, I have administered meds to pets cared for a bird and fed fish. In addition to feeding and water, I will make sure litter boxes are clean, I will clean up any vomit that your pets might be prone to (this happens far more than one would expect). I will bring in mail, any packages, etc. If you need me to put out trash cans and bring them back in, let me know. And because people have asked, no, none of this costs extra. Above all, I will try and give your pet as much attention as possible while you are gone. No one will replace the owners in their pet's eyes, but I will try to make your absence a little more tolerable.

This is our second time having Steve come take care of our kitten, and I couldn't recommend him enough! He is reliable, was communicative throughout our trip, and genuinely cares about our little one as a member of our family. He left everything neat and tidy, too, and it was clear that our kitten had been very well cared for. I am very grateful we found him. We recently purchased a house and since I work full time, I don't offer day care. I will consider overnight boarding on a case-by-case basis. But I will spend plenty of quality time with your pets and provide what I interpret as their mental health and their general demeanor.

How social or aggressive is the dog? Or is the dog very submissive? Or there any other dogs that is either their "friend or foe"? And how are they with cats? Any medical issues I need to be aware? Is the dog capable of long walks?
A typical day
I work full time so my visits for cats entail feeding, watering, litter box duty and also plenty of physical affection and attention. With dogs, I try to take them on long walks with plenty of opportunity for them to check their "social media feed". Dogs' brains need the interaction that the sniffing of other dogs' "messages" give them.

Availability
We have been in the Cary area for a year and I have gained many great animals as clients. We have recently purchased a house, but as yet, I am not advertising boarding services but we will consider on a case by case basis. But I can NOT board cats as our Greyhound is VERY aggressive towards cats. He can't even go visit my daughters for fear of their cats. I currently work full-time at NC State so during the week, the only visit times that I can do are up to 7 am and after 5:30 pm. I am a life-time lover of animals and with my wife, we have cared for three dogs and six cats. We have always rescued our dogs and currently we own a very lovable greyhound named Hobbes. I live in Lochmere, south of Cary and if you are out in Morrisville, West Cary or similar distances away, I apologize but the distance and my time constraints make it unlikely that I will be able to provide you with quality service. There are many very qualified walkers that are likely closer to you and can provide you with better service.
