Hey there I'm Steven! Thanks for considering me to look after your dogs/cats! Animal care is my passion and my calling. I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I have years of professional experience working at different doggie daycares and also spent one year as a veterinary assistant. I am currently in the process of studying for the Certification for Professional Dog Trainers exam so if you're interested in some basic obedience/behavior modification/clicker training services please feel free to ask during our meet & greet!

Once again our furbabies had a great time with their favorite person Steve. It's so great to be able to go away and know they are well cared for. Can thank you enough.
My dog Rosie, is a big, very strong and high energy Great Dane. Steve does a great job walking her, allowing her to explore and have fun while keeping her under safe control as well. Rosie loves her walks with Steve and even gets excited when she sees his car coming down our street ! Rosie and I will definitely be calling Steve again!

I use what's known as the LIMA(least intrusive, minimally aversive) approach to animal care. I prefer to celebrate an animals success' rather than focusing on their mistakes. I use praise, OFTEN. Your furry family member will hear me tell them how good they are A LOT!

Age/breed, medications taken, Food/environmental allergies as well as any other known health concerns, known/familiar commands, please tell me if your animals are reactive to any particular stimuli so I can prepare to avoid any that may approach during a walk.
A typical day
I always enjoy easy-breezy neighborhood walks, up-hill cardio walks to keep dogs' muscles toned and healthy, or adrenaline-pumping adventures chasing after the ball in the dog park or just running around open grassy areas anchored to the dog by a flexible, but heavy duty, 30 ft nylon training lead, and I also like to use food scented puppy bubbles!

Availability
I currently work full time Monday-Friday except on holidays. I work very early in the morning until 6 or 7 at night so unfortunately I can only provide pet care services through rover on the weekends at this time.
