Pet care experience
My first pets as a child were chickens and I cared and raised them until they passed. Even training one in particular to come to me like a dog. Since then I have always loved animals and currently have a few dogs of my own with my family. I believe that all animals should have a loving home and there is nothing more endearing than to have an animal feel safe and cared for by an individual.

Just had another “house sitting” service from Steve and he had done a great job looking after our doggies. I can always count on Steve for his professionalism, dedication and friendliness.
Steve was very professional and did everything we asked for during the 2-day house sitting for our 2 dogs. I’m very satisfied and happy to have found Steve on Rover.
Steven was amazing with our dog. He was very accommodating after a last minute request for him to watch our dog. He gave us constant updates and kept us informed every day. He’s very kind and our dog liked him from the second he met him. He followed all of the care instructions and made sure our dog had a good time and everything he needed. Very caring and gentle as well. We’ll definitely be using him for our future sitting needs.

It is important to know their routine and what your animals do’s and don’ts. Having a good understanding of your dog’s personality is super important to make sure your animal is best taken care of.
A typical day
I like to make sure that first they are taken care of physically so a nice walk or even a longer walk would be great and if need be I would love to take care of dogs that need a lot of exercises on a hike. After that it would be a lot of relaxing and lounging dogs making sure they are properly fed and have enough water.

Currently I work full time from home but can occasionally slip out to take care of some animals. I am mostly available on the weekends and would love to meet some special animals.
