Hello, I'm a dog person with many years of dog sitting experience available to dog sit at your residence, to walk, or drop in to take care of your pooch. I'm located in Lakewood and can watch your furry child at my residence. I have a town house with a backyard. I had a 75 lb Dalmatian and Black Lab mutt for 14 years and a Bichon Poodle for 5 more years until I moved away from home. I'm fond of dogs of many different breeds. Currently, I do not have a dog of my own but that frees me up to give even more attention to yours! Usually I respond pretty quickly, sometimes I may be tied up with something called a job, haha.

Steve was great! We were on a time crunch and Steve answered so quick and we were able to drop off our pupper within the hour. He took Everly for great walks and sent sweet pictures of her snuggling. We will definitely have him watch Everly again!

Steve took great care of my dachshund Durkheim! I've done drop in visits through Rover.com, but this was my first experience doing boarding. Steve watched Durk for 4 days when I was out of town over Father's Day weekend. Steve was very prompt with his response to my boarding request and offered that I bring Durk over beforehand for a meet and greet. I was a little worried about leaving Durk with someone he didn't know but was quickly assured that Durk would be just fine after meeting Steve and seeing his place. Steve was very attentive to Durk's needs and his place is ideal for dog boarding. Durk had surgery a couple months ago and needs to be carried up and down stairs and needs to be held in such a way that won't put pressure on his spine. Steve made sure he was holding Durk right. Durk is generally pretty shy around guys but took to Steve pretty quick. Steve's place has a great little fenced in back yard area with grass. While I was out of town Steve sent me pictures of my little guy and texted me with updates about how he was doing. Next time I need to board Durk, Steve is my first choice!

Is your dog crate trained? House broken? What kind of diet do you feed your dog? Any treats and how much? Does your pup get along with other dogs? Have any fears or triggers?
A typical day
A typical week day for your dog would be breakfast when I wake up for work and being let out into the backyard. I work from home so if your pooch needs to be let out every 2 hours, it's just a quick jaunt down the stairs. They'd be fed at 5-6 pm and let out into the yard along with play time (fetch and whatnot). I would be home for the remainder of the night and if it's a multiple night stay I would take your dog to the dog park or one of the many trails Denver has. If your dog is potty-trained, they would be allowed out and about our apartment during the time I am not in the apartment. If not, I would keep your dog in a crate that you provide. When I'm home, your dog will be allowed to sit on my furniture. Though, that can be disallowed if you are training your dog to stay off furniture. That includes my bed and couch. Overall, your dog would get lots of attention on the weekends, every 2-4 hours during a work day and for the entire evening.
