In last 2 years of Rover experience, Sterling was by far the worst sitter I have come across. Day 1 he came in to sit Sammy. My roomie informed the next day that after leaving the house day before, he never came back until next day evening and when I inquired him about it he said he couldn’t come back because he had to get additional clothes. I was on an international trip to Peru and day 3 he surprises me by saying he cannot continue sitting for remaining 7 days since it was costing him more tome and money than expected. Not sure how it could cost more time and money when everything was detailed in meet and greet 3 months in advance. He left sitting service in between and I had to scramble last minute while in Peru to look for another sitter. Very unreliable and would never recommend him to anyone.

Sterling is an amazing pet sitter. He checked in daily. Each time my shiba looked spoiled. He took my shiba on a picinic with his friends and she was totally spoiled on the picnic blanket, like she owned the whole blanket. Aside from clearly seeing he is a dog lover, Sterling is such a nice and understanding pet sitter. Totally flexible, I booked very late, made late drop off and pick ups and he was totally accommodating to my crazy schedule. Definitely recommend him for pet sitting anytime. I'm actually looking to book him for the holidays if he is in town.
