Pet care experience
I have multiple years of experience working at a wildlife refuge, affording me the opportunities to feed, clean after, and provide care for many domestics as well as exotic pets. In addition, being an animal owner myself and having cared for the pets of numerous friends and family members over the years, I do it every day for them because it brings me joy. I am probably one of the most attentive individuals you’ll ever meet when it comes to compassion for animals so you’d never have to worry about whether or not yours is in good hands.

Stephen is amazing. He took great care of our pet and sent us pictures while we were away. He is very loving, compassionate and treated our fur baby as his own. We had a trip planned and at the last minute our pet sitter had to cancel. Stephen quickly responded to our request and agreed to watch him for several weeks. He followed all of our instructions and went above and beyond our expectations. He even bought our dog a toy which has become one of his favorites! We highly recommend him and would give him more than a 5 star rating if we could. You will not be disappointed if you choose Stephen as your pet sitter!
I’ve known Stephen for 20 years and he is a massive animal lover. From dogs to cats to snakes to birds to prairie dogs! He loves them all and treats all of them with compassion. I was recently in a crisis and needed a last min pet sitter and he stayed at my house for several days and cared for my 2 dogs, cat, and hedgehog. He even pet the squirrel that made a nest in my roof. I have a unique situation where my older dog and cat can’t be around each other and Stephen successfully kept them separate and gave them all equal amounts of love throughout the day. He also left the house in great condition!
Stephen Neal was actually hired to stay at our home and keep our 8 year old yellow Labrador Retriever named Chester. He went above and beyond in tending to Chester’s needs and kept him very busy, with walks and visits to the park. My dog actually acted as if I had never left when I returned. Meaning he wasn’t overly excited when I arrived. My neighbors all knew him by name and told me how often he was out walking Chester. If you want to be able to leave your pet in trusted hands, I can say with 100% confidence that Stephen is the best one for the job. To say Stephen is an animal lover would be an understatement. Stephen not only has an immense amount of compassion and empathy for animals, he is extremely efficient at caring for them according to their individual needs. Stephen has cared for my yellow lab on numerous occasions and I think my dog was actually more sad to see Stephen leave than he was happy to see me home lol. Stephen has effective communication skills, is not afraid to ask questions if he is unsure, and provides updates about the status of my pet. Stephen is also very clean and organized which I very much appreciated, knowing he was entering my home. Stephen goes above and beyond when it comes to animal care. On a rating scale of 5 stars, I'd give him 7! His services are truly worth every penny!

I truly want your animal to feel as if you never left so knowing what they like and enjoy throughout the day is definitely a necessity.
A typical day
I live only a short 5 minute walk from Bayshore so you can certainly expect me to take your doggo their for morning and evening trips if you were to need boarding. Davis Island is also not far from me so if you were okay with me traveling with your dog, I could take him/her there to enjoy a nice open field by leash.
