Pet care experience
I am a full-time dog lover closest to the South side of Charlottesville (Albemarle county, technically speaking), available for doggy day care and sleepovers. I grew up (a long time ago) with a small dog and have previously volunteered at the CASPCA walking dogs of all sizes. I'm not sure why, but I have a certain animal attraction. It is rare that I find a dog (or other animal) that doesn't like me, or vice versa. I am happy to throw things, walk/jog/run with your dog, or otherwise entertain them, but I will be strict when necessary -- I am in charge. While I do not have formal dog training experience, if you have specific ways of handling or interacting with your dog I am happy to comply.

Stephen is an awesome self determined individual. He loves animals of every shape and size, and is a caring and reliable person that can handle any breed, size, or energy level. When he comes to visit us, he always ends up playing with our 110lb German Shepherd and our lab mix. At the same time, he is not a push over for the dogs, and is able to tell them no when the time comes to let them know play time is over, and it's time to behave. As a pet owner and friend, I highly recommend Stephen as a dog sitter/walker.

A typical day
My own dog is happy to have new friends over. There are several miles of trails on which to walk, quiet residential streets on which to run, quite a few friendly neighborhood doggies to meet and play with.

I work from home full time and have a dog of my own, so I get to take lots of work breaks to play and/or let the dogs out.
