Pet care experience
While growing up, I was always surrounded by adopted family members. I was taught from a very young age on how to properly care for dogs, cats, fish, birds, frogs, and even tortoises! I feel so blessed that I grew up in an environment that loved, valued, and treated pets to the same degree that I was raised; they are truly members of the family. Now living in the bay and on my own, I have the pleasure of helping care and play with your pets.

Dog-Walking: I love the outdoors and of course so do the dogs! Whether it's a walk to the dog park or strolling around the bay trail, I love to get out and stretch our legs. I believe it's really important that dogs are given the opportunity to get out and see the world as they are often confined to their homes for many hours of the day. Drop-in Visits: Pets are very social creatures and it is so important not to leave them alone for extended periods of time. Depending on the pet, they'll need bathroom breaks, water refills, feeding, and lots of love and playtime. As someone who adores dogs and cats, this and house-sitting are my two favorite services because I get to interact with them within their own homes. This is where they are most comfortable and where their personalities really shine through! House-Sitting: This is everything involved with a drop-in visit, but lasts much longer! Getting to know these new friends takes time, and house sitting affords that opportunity. I have house sat for many friends' and clients’ pets and always leave knowing I've made a furry friend or two in the process.

The most important thing to me is that I understand how the dog interprets their environment and if they need any special care. If there is anything that might make them anxious, upset, angry, or sad, I would like to know so that I can make our time together as enjoyable as possible. Likewise, if any special care is required, I would like to know beforehand so that I can prepare myself to best take care of your furry friend.
A typical day
I love playing with dogs and getting out with them. One of my favorite places to take dogs is Seal Point Park as it affords a great deal of fresh air and socialization for them. Another area I enjoy walking them is out on Half-Moon Bay's trail. Other than these locations, they would experience the local area in Redwood City and really learn the neighborhoods! I also love playing with dogs. Whether its a fun game of tug-of-war, fetch, or just some good old fashioned pets and a belly rub, I tucker then out until they’re sleeping all day.
