Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Steve and I have 3+ years experience with my own dog, a female Aussie Shepard X American Eskimo named Nallie. We have done extensive training and just received our Canine Good Citizen Advanced certificate. I own and operate a small farm in Dracut and I have trained Nallie to catch and even herd our chickens. I also have 1 year of experience training and sitting a Catahoula Leopard puppy, and anyone who knows the breed knows these dogs are extremely energetic and need lots of exercise. They also can be stubborn and a lot of training is required to get them to obey commands. Through positive reinforcement techniques, rewarding for good behavior, we have come a long way! I am interested in dog walking and dog check-ins currently, until I can rezone my property to allow for a doggy daycare. Let me know exactly what you need from me and I'll be happy to help! Thanks! Steve has watched our 8 month old puppy Lulu on numerous occasions and I would highly reccommend him if you are looking for a reliable dog sitter! He is very knowledgeable about dog training and behavior and attentive to our individual dog's needs. He is always responsive and available to answer any questions we may have during the day and sends frequent updates. His love of dogs is apparent as he is always patient, caring, and kind with Lulu.
We are so happy with the experience that our two dogs had With Steven and Alex. Both of our dogs are small and require lots of love and attention. Steven and Alex delivered. Our dogs are small and one sometimes has some anger issues... I was worried leaving them...but the pictures and videos they sent over the week of their stay, reassured me that they integrated well and that they were getting plenty of love and attention from Steven and Alex.! Our pup isn't just our dog, she's a member of our family and we want what's best for our pup. That's why we chose Steve. Steve's such a great pet sitter. We trust him wholeheartedly with our pup. He has taken her when we have gone away on vacations and we wouldn't want anyone else to have her. She loves him and we love him, too! Steve also sends us daily updates of her day and we love the photos that he shares with us. We are truly lucky to have a guy like Steve for our pup. He is caring, compassionate and professional! If you have a Lab, or dog who loves to retrieve, I can take them out to an off leash park and throw a frisbee or ball until their hearts content! Or let me know what you do with your dog on the weekends, a favorite trail or spot your dog really likes, and I'll take them there!
