Experienced dog walker and carer
Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, had my own and have looked after a variety of breeds from Maltese to Dobermans. I have a kind and caring nature and build relationships with dogs by understanding their characters, building empathy, mutual respect and trust. I used to have dog walkers and have gleaned the things that make a difference for the dog and owners such as wiping paws after a walk in a wet day and any treats appropriate for the dog's behavior and owners requirements I have flexible working arrangements and am available to care for your best friend(s)during the day. My preference is for local walks but am open to other requests. I regularly looks after a dog in at the owners property which includes all aspects of care together with walking. I have also been able to advise on diet and methods of keeping an active dog amused and its brain busy.
Reviews
Steve is well experienced with dogs and is amazing with my dog. He takes him for nice, varied walks and spends time playing with him and keeping his mind stimulated. I highly recommend Steve.

Information Stephen H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know as much as possible about your dogs' likes and dislikes and any special needs. This may be seemingly small things that are important such as leaving a radio after a visit.
A typical day
I have found that it is important to provide physical (walks) stimulation as well as mental stimulation. Some dogs chase sticks, etc whilst others don't, some like to hunt for treats while others don't and some like to do tricks. Getting to know your dog we'll find a good balance of mental and physical stimulation and trust.
