We used Stephen for our first ever Rover experience and will never use anyone else. I reached out to him through the app after looking for someone to watch our dog for a week while we were on vacation. We had very specific requests because of our dog's age and because our dog has a neck injury. I sent a message to Stephen and got an instant response. After our first interaction I knew I didn't need to look any further. Stephen was super professional, friendly, thoughtful and extremely communicative. We met in person to make sure it was a good fit. Stephen was so kind that he ran out to our car with a step stool to make sure our dog could get down out of the car safely! Stephen had a bunch of excellent questions that I had not thought of so that made me even more comfortable with our choice. While we were on vacation my family didn't have to worry about our furry family member because Stephen sent frequent updates including pictures, videos and the walk data! We were absolutely 100% blown away. It was like our dog was on his very own vacation. I am so thankful we found someone dependable and reliable.
Stephen and his family did an amazing job with my dog! They loved him as if he was a part of their family! Plenty of updates, photos and nice long walks for my dog. Lots of playtime and loving snuggles while he was there. I can't wait to book with him again!!

It's very important for any sitter to know the following: ● Feeding schedule ● Potty schedule ● Crate routine ● Fears (storms, fireworks, vacuums, etc) ● Energy levels ● Bad habits ● Flight risk ● Ok with children and other dogs? ● Ok on couches and beds? ● Medical and veterinary info ● Emergency contact info ● Is this the pet's first boarding?
A typical day
For most dogs, it usually involves lots of hiking in the woods beside Lake Jackson. I provide up to 2 walks a day because a tired dog is a happy dog. My service also includes screenshots to show where we went and how far we walked. For lower energy or older pets, I operate more like an R&R resort.

I am a self-employed homebody who has an extremely flexible schedule and doesn't currently have pets in the home. This means that I can provide 24/7 care and 100% focus on your little friend full-time. More importantly, your pet will be more comfortable always having a human around.
