Pet care experience
My first dog was amazing; he'd always come sleep in my bed and was my best friend through most of elementary school. Years later he had lymph node cancer and we had to say goodbye. It was probably the hardest thing I ever had to live with but I'll never forget the little guy. Whenever I see a dog waiting in the front yard, for the owner to return, I just want to run in their yard and play with him/her. Over the past few years I've been taking house-sitting jobs wasting my friends pets and homes. But, really, just their pets. I'm usually the first person asked for when it comes time to look for a sitter. I never mind in the slightest. I've always been a dog lover, small dogs, big dogs, they're the best friends that we all get to know and love. I hope I can be of any service to anyone that needs the help.

I have worked with Stephen Evjen before and I can tell you that he is a very reliable person. He always arrived when scheduled, he maintained a clean and orderly appearance, he has a positive attitude, and gets along easily with everybody he meets. He has a great love of the outdoors, in fact, he would often request to work outside when the opportunity was available. Outside of work, I have known him to be an enthusiastic guy and has a great love for all animals. He presently owns two healthy cats but, in the spirit of the 'dog-guy' he is, spends as much time as he can with my sister's dog, Tanner, who has ALS and is in need of much care, including daily walks, medications, and a special diet. He looked after other pets belonging to myself and other friends, and he has always taken fantastic care of our pets. The animals love him and he always makes sure to give them whatever care they need.

I'd really prefer to know if there are any allergies, or foods prohibited (aside from the obvious) before anything else. Walks are simple enough, it's nice to know which direction is preferred. Aside from that, I really like Huskies and medium sized dogs the most.
A typical day
I usually like going towards nearby parks, if the pup prefers it. Walking on cement doesn't seem that fun, especially when they have to worry about scraping their nails on the ground. Plus, if the dog is social, it's nice to get the chance to say 'hello' to other dogs.
