Pet care experience
Been dog sitting for friends and family for most of my life and on Rover since 2015. Grew up with my black lab from age 5. Parents have two rescues and I just adopted my own good boy from a rescue. He gets along great with other dogs and I own a home with a big fenced backyard. I’m good with dogs and cats, and treat every animal like my own.

Stephen was great. He met prior to house sitting with my big pups and asked all the right questions. My bird dog is active and craves attention, while the other just loves being in the moment. Stephen was able to provide good care for both while I was gone. I look forward to scheduling future sessions with Stephen.

I treat every animal like my own. I know how easily it can be for them to get out of the house so I take every precaution. I have a fenced yard and can go in and out through my back door.

I have no breed preferences. I would like to know how they act with houseguests as well as if they have any sort of anxiety during storms so I could plan to keep an even closer eye on them during those. I would also like to know about any health problems.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog I would plan to spend time with your dog three to five times per day depending on the particular pet and distance from my residence. Each time I would check your dog's food and water, give them a bathroom break, and play with them. I would also be open to taking your dog on a short walk once a day if the weather is not extraordinarily bad. If I am staying in your home, I will keep the dog(s) company and make sure they are good on food and water. If you have any special requests let me know and I will make sure it gets done. Extra house-sitting services Yes. I will water plants, take out the trash, get the mail and newspaper, and anything like that. I will also make sure all doors are locked and shut when I leave, and I will set the alarm if applicable.
