Pet care experience
I've had at least one dog of some kind in my life for the last 15 years, and I can't imagine days without them. My son Harper is desperate for a buddy, so we knew that Rover would be the best place for him to find new friends and take some of the stress away from you while you're out of town! I have tried to stay very active in unemployment, so you can certainly expect many walks, lots of playtime, and any other activities you'd like your pup to enjoy. Harper loves having new friends over so much that when dogs come over to my place, he completely forgets I exist. His excitement meeting new friends rivals the same excitement we had as kids when our parents would let us have a sleepover.

Stephen was wonderful! His check-in notes were always so thorough, and he sent adorable pictures and videos of our little kitties. Would definitely recommend for your pet sitting needs!

I live by myself in a first floor apartment with a balcony - there's a good amount of space and carpet for pups to play and lounge around. I allow dogs on any and all furniture - what's mine is theirs. Harper will show your pup the ropes around here - we love having new friends stay with us!

Let me know if there are any things that your dog is territorial about (bones, toys, etc.) as Harper is a big play sharer and will play keep away or "chase me" with toys. Let me know on average how far you go per walk, or how long your dog would reasonably expect to go on a walk. Harper is getting older so we tend to do shorter walks (1-2 miles) more often rather than one big long walk, but I can make anything work as I want your pup to feel comfortable and happy!
A typical day
I live very close to Runyon Canyon, which has always been a favorite spot of mine to tire my dog out. Other than that, the Hollywood area has lots of suburban streets and areas that make for excellent walking paths, and if we're feeling adventurous we might head out to Poinsettia Park to people-watch. At home, Harper has tons of toys that he does not care an ounce about until there's another dog with him and then they're all he wants to play with. We tend to have just as much fun with friends indoors as we do outdoors, which comes in handy on hot days!

Availability
I am unemployed so I can be home at all times to take care of your pet as much as needed. I walk my son 3-4 times a day and am happy to maintain whatever schedule you'd like for your pup.
