Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Stephanie and I’ve been a pet sitter ever since I was little. I’ve always had pets in my life. I currently have an 14 year old Bichon/Shih Tzu named Koko, a 2 year old medium haired cat named Tuna, and a 2 year old bearded dragon named Blue, whom I adore. I live in Henrico but work in Richmond during the week and I’m willing to travel short distances. On top of walks, I enjoy going to the dog parks and I’m familiar with grooming (just bathing, my dog gets a bath every 2 weeks). I’m used to any size dog and am able to adapt to any life style. Whether it be a low maintenance or high maintenance pup or cat, I am accustomed to either. My animals are my babies, so I know how to care for your loved one.

Stephanie was an awesome Sam Sitter! She gave us frequent updates (and photos) and made our often anxious pup feel at ease. You can tell she loves animals and that they love her. Highly recommended!
Stephanie was amazing! She really cared about making sure my cat was well fed and happy while I was away. She was great at communicating and sending me the cutest pictures that I will continue to treasure. Whenever I'm in need of a cat sitter again I'll definitely reach out to Stephanie!
I've booked Stephanie twice now for drop-in visits for my cat while I've been out of town, and she's been great! She's very communicative and friendly and I can travel with peace of mind knowing that my cat is being well looked after.

I have tremendous experience with senior dogs (mine is 14), so I understand the importance of potty breaks and daily exercise. Not only do I let them out to do their business, but I spend quality time playing and giving them belly rubs.

A typical day
I love stimulating and giving your pup all the attention it deserves. We’ll go on long walks (or short if your dog gets tired fast like mine) down Capital Hill trail, we can play in the dog park at my apartment, and explore the neighborhood of Rocketts Landing!

I work M-Th in Richmond from 7:30am-5:00pm, so I can come by any time after work or all weekends! I’m fairly flexible on the weekends that I am around.
