I recently had to put my sweet Molly, a basset hound, of 15 1/2 years down and I miss having a dog to care for, play with and love on. Molly was never boarded and that's the way I think it should be! Dogs feel most comfortable "at home." Molly always had someone to take care of her who she knew and many times in her familiar place (especially as she got older). Molly had many health problems so I can be extremely patient and helpful when it comes to caring for a dog that might need some extra attention. It's very important to me that a dog feels comfortable where they are and that they feel loved. I love to walk and run and love having a companion to do those things with. If you are simply looking for the cheapest rate and finding someone to simply check in on your dog and provide a warm body for them then I am not your person, I want to become your dogs friend and have a relationship with him/her while providing the best possible comfort and care. I want you to leave your dog knowing that he/she will be well taken care of (just like you would) and not having any worry and stress while you are away. I will take care of your dog as if she/he were my own and I can assure you I have a pretty high standard. I enjoy staying in touch with dog owners while they are away so that they know how their dog is doing because I remember how difficult it was to be away from Molly and how much better I felt knowing that she was happy and ok.
