I have been a passionate animal lover since I was born. I grew up with cats, and currently have two of my own. I can't have dogs where I live, but as soon as I move, I will be adopting a dog as soon as I can! My cats are spoiled and loved unconditionally; they are fed and played with regularly, they snuggle in bed with me at night, and I even take them on walks outside on leashes. I would provide the same love and care for your dog(s)! While I don't currently have a dog, I have significant experience volunteering with animal shelters, including the Erie Country SPCA, the Animal Rescue League of Boston, Morris Animal Refuge, and currently, P.A.L.S in Ardmore. I have volunteered as an adoption counselor, a dog walker, and cage cleaner. I have also fostered cats who were struggling in the shelter; all the cats had medical issues when I took them in, and I was sure to take immediate care of their needs. Additionally, my previous roommates had two dogs, and I helped walk, feed, and care for them often, especially when they went away. Currently, I work as a school counselor in Philadelphia. I have my summers off, and would love to spend the summer with animals. I have a very flexible schedule, and plan to work whatever hours are needed during the week and on weekends. I am quick to respond, happy to email, call, text - whatever is convenient for you. My husband is also a huge animal lover, and would be around to help love your dog(s), too.
