I’m Stephanie and I absolutely love dogs! Growing up, a dog has always been a staple in my home. Now that I’ve newly moved to the Washington D.C. area, there is a doggy-shaped void that needs to be filled. My favorite thing about pups is how they look at you. The love, loyalty, and excitement in their eyes shows me how much they believe we are their world. After a tough day, that look does wonders! I would love to be there for your loved one in your absence, providing them safe and happy care in the comfort of their own home. In the past ten years, I have been a primary caregiver to our family dogs and a regular sitter for friends and family members’ pups! In these roles, I’ve done everything with them! This includes veterinary trips, medications, feeding, walking, running, and of course, playing! As a child, we also had cats and rabbits and I feel comfortable providing care to them, and any other animal you might have. I love all animals, as each prove every time to have their own personality and quirks that make being a pet sitter so fun! When I’m not enjoying time with furry friends, I spend a few days a week as a nurse. As a nurse, my compassion and trustworthiness help me succeed. I would love to take those inherent qualities about myself into your home - building a collaborative and friendly relationship with you and your pup. As a nurse, I typically have a few days off in a row, meaning I will be able to spend lots of quality time with your pup. And as a pet sitter, I know how important communication is. I will be open and communicative about my personal schedule, working around what you need. I always offer meet and greets, ask in depth questions, and learn as much as possible about your dog! Additionally, I’m in constant communication - sending text, photo, and video updates to show you what a great time we’re having. At the end of the stay, I am always eager to answer any questions you have about the stay and of course, thank you for allowing me to spend time with your furry, loved one!
