Pet care experience
I have owned and have experience with a wide variety of animals. As a child, I used to care for neighbors pets when out of town and have had many kinds of my own pets. I competed in agility for fun with our 2 shelties for 4 years. My husband is also an animal lover. I think it’s very important that the whole house is on board and has the same passion as I do when caring for someone else’s fur baby.

I honestly can not say how very pleased we were leaving Kali with Stephanie and her family. We had only left her with a sitter once before and she had had other family dogs (her pack) with her, so this was a new experience for her. Stephanie worked with her to calm her & make her experience a positive one. She sent pictures & updates to us daily. She has a beautiful secure home, where we felt comfortable leaving her. Her husband, baby and dogs were an added bonus because they were just as wonderful as Stephanie! If we could give ten stars we would. We will definitely be booking future stays with Stephanie and her family. Thank you Stephanie!

We are situated on a quiet country setting on 4 acres backed up to 100’s of acres of conservation. We have 2 shelties, one being 8 and the other 10. They both seem to prefer smaller calm dogs and due to my daughter being more mobile now I am only booking small dogs at this time. We have 1 acre of 5 ft fenced backyard amongst the 4 acres in which the fence is attached to the back of our home with our back door opening into the fenced area. We are backed up to miles of wooded conservation trails which we frequently take our dogs walking on depending on the weather and would be happy to take your fur baby along with us if the weather is right!

The number one most important thing for your dog is to be kid friendly as I have a toddler at home with me. She is never left unattended with my own dogs and you can expect the same for yours but they also need to show no aggression toward children randomly. I would also prefer to know if your dog is food and/or toy aggressive. I can accommodate most dogs with special needs. We also have 6 free range chickens on our property if your dog is likely to chase after them they have a large chicken run they can be kept in until your dogs stay is over.
A typical day
We have a 1 acre fenced backyard for your dog to play and burn off all their energy in also depending on weather and trail conditions we frequently walk our dogs on the miles of wooded trails right off the back of our property or along our winding road through a nearby quiet neighborhood.

I am a stay at home mom so I am always available to tend to your pets needs. I also only take 1 household pet(s) at a time so all attention is focused on your pet. I am open to multiple pets from the same household.
