I have consistently volunteered at local humane societies since I was 5 years old - walking, playing, washing, feeding and caring for animals ranging from mice to large breed canines. I have had dogs, cats, and horses my entire life and learned at an early age the level of responsibility required to care for same. Most recently I researched many different training tactics and how and why they do/don't work for some dogs. I applied that knowledge to my 6 month old pitbull mix when we adopted him in October, 2019, and humbly believe that I have been able to give him the most fulfilling life because of that. Love and care for animals runs in my blood - my mom was the executive director of our local humane society while I grew up and my brother is now a veterinarian in the Cleveland area. This is a passion commitment for me. A recent career change has left me with extra time and I desire to fill that extra time by assisting with the care for the pets in my community.
