Lover of dogs and the outdoors!
Pet care experience
I have always loved dogs! I volunteered with various pet rescues from middle school on and walked dogs at the humane society in college. I grew up with dogs and now have my own dog-I can't imagine life without my furry best friend and our daily walks! I'm ready to show your dog the same love and get them out of the house! I'm an avid walker and hiker, and I'll take your dog to the greenbelt, the foothills, or just around your neighborhood. I'm friendly and patient and was raised around dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am a fast-thinker and learner and can deal promptly and professionally if any issues may arise. I can't wait to meet your best friend and take him/her for great walks!
Reviews
Finnegan, a 60 lb border collie, was always a heap of trouble. He was picked up by animal control on the side of a mountain at 6 months and has always been a little wild with a taste for adventure. It is a brave soul who willingly takes Finnegan for long walks in the woods. He is known to roll in dead salmon, quarrel with porcupines, and eat every species of scat available. Stephanie is an attentive and responsible friend to Finnegan. Always steering him from trouble, not to mention pooh, and then dutifully dealing with his shenanigans when his curiosity and vigor gets the better of them. I highly recommend her as your dog's new friend. Finnegan gives her an enthusiastic two paws way up.
Stephanie is truly a "Dog Whisperer." She was able manage Lokie, my mischievous Alaskan Malamute. She entered his life by taking him on many snowy hikes and adventures. I later rescued a sweet, but very wild, Husky-Akita mix that came to adore Stephanie. She was able to train him with compassion and helped him to be a wonderful companion. She is confident, safe, and loving... she has a true gift.

I was so sad when Stephanie moved away! She was a great dog sitter and dog walker for my two large Alaskan Malamutes. They loved her, too! She could get Maggie to take her thyroid med, no problem. Stephanie, come back!! We miss you!!
