Pet care experience
I am a professional and certified Dog Walker with credentials from DogTec Dog Walking Academy. I am currently involved with 5 animal rescue organizations in the bay area, with over 25 years of rescue work. I have a rotating door for foster animals. I am also a reptile enthusiast. Though not a certified dog trainer, I have extensive experience. My household is filled with lots of fur but LOTS of love. I have 2 dogs whom I use as training in both dog walking and socialization. We go on hikes at least 5 days a week. I have experience in administrating meds and caring for elderly and sickly pets with tender and patient care. Feel free to ask any questions!

I only board dogs I have previously walked and have a relationship AND are good with kids (over 12+ years old) AND cats. I am happy to test for cats for an additional fee. This can be a separate service sans boarding. I am available for weekend dog walks and or pet sitting with the exception that I do not stay over night, but more than happy to do a few visits each day.

There are a series of questions I like to go over before taking your dog out. Be prepared to answer questions such as: - Up to date with vaccines and spayed/neutered? - How are they with other dogs? Dogs of all sizes? - Are there any quirks I should know about? Ex: bikes, scooters, joggers, men, people with hats, people with sun glasses, etc. - How is their prey drive on a scale of 1-10. One being little to none. Interested and will notice small creatures and will not chase. Ten being, will absolutely chase and take off. - How are they if they encounter younger children? - How is their recall?
A typical day
Dog walking: for morning pick ups for dog hikes/walks (only servicing Albany, El Cerrito, Berkeley and parts of Oakland (TBD) between 8:30am-9:30am. We frequent Tilden trails, on occasion Oakland trails, Cesar Chaves and Albany Bulb. Your pup will be out of the house for about 2 to 3 hours each time.
