Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs for 23 years, and have cared for more than 60 foster puppies and adult dogs through local rescue organizations. My calm, patient, loving approach helps put new doggos at ease, gain their trust, and grow to love me as a favorite Aunty. My experience includes feeding, playing, walking, bathing, nail trimming, wound care, and medication management. I specialize in mellow adult and senior dogs who need gentle, loving, supportive care in a quiet, restful environment outside of traditional daycare and boarding environments, but truthfully — I love them all.

Stephanie kept our two dogs last week and she was phenomenal! I took the dogs over for a meet & greet a few weeks ahead of time. This was helpful for her, my dogs, and it gave me peace of mind, too. One of my dogs was bitten by a coyote the morning I was to drop off. The bite was superficial so I treated it and then Stephanie took great care of Jake—even giving him a Tshirt to wear to keep the other dogs from licking his wound. We did run into trouble with our alpha dog, Obi. He did not mesh well with Stephanie’s alpha dog. Luckily, I had no problem getting Obi into another situation so that all of our dogs were comfortable. Stephanie did a great job of communicating with me, sending pictures throughout the week, and entertaining the dogs with an Easter egg hunt, outdoor time, and treats. Highly recommend!
Stephanie took great care of Nash today! He was so nervous when he got there, but she made him feel right at home. The updates and pics she sent to let us know he was comfortable and ok throughout the day was much appreciated! Thank you, Stephanie!
Aunty Stephanie is the BEST! Between their huge, beautiful backyard and their sweet fur babies - Simba has the best time when he goes on vacation here!

I require an in person meeting greet to ensure your dog is comfortable here with me, my home, and my three house pups. I also need to know how, and if (daycare) your dog needs to be fed and if you will supply their food or use mine.
A typical day
When the weather is nice we spend lots of time outside sniffing plants, looking for squirrels, and playing fetch. On cold and rainy days we use snuffle mats and treat puzzles to work our minds and even romp around a little bit in the open space of the full basement. But the best parts of the days are spent cozied up on a warm, comfortable bed close to Aunty Steph who generously doles out belly rubs and scratches.

Availability
I work from home full time, and have an office full of dog beds and comfortable chairs for your dog to relax and nap during the day. We take frequent potty and play breaks outside in the fully-fenced backyard. My yard is a certified wildlife sanctuary full of native plants, fruit trees, and a large vegetable garden — so there is all kinds of opportunity to sniff and explore.
