Pet care experience
Hi I’m Stephanie! I am currently in my second year of Veterinary School at the University of Minnesota and am working as a veterinary assistant as well. I have experience boarding both cats and dogs along with administering medication to both. I first started working with animals at a humane society when I was 16, but have owned my own pets since I was little and couldn’t imagine life without them. I am here to help from stopping in to feed and play with your pet to taking them for a walk to get there energy out. I know it’s hard to leave your pets and would love to ease your anxiety by sending you lots of pictures and updates. I love any job that involves spending time with animals and would love to help you out in any way possible.

Stephanie sat for our boys (1 dog, 1 cat) while we were out of town for an extended weekend. She was fabulous! She met with us in advance to learn about our pets, asking great questions to ensure they were well cared for. Stephanie kept us informed of her (and the pets) schedules and activities, sending us pictures as well. She was professional and respectful. I would definitely recommend her services. Stephanie was wonderful! My cats were definitely happy to see me after 4 days but they were calm and collected which I attribute to Stephanie's care. Definitely book her again! Thank you, thank you for the peace of mind while I was away!

We had Stephanie stay at our home to care for our two dogs. She came to our house in advance to meet us and our dog. She is very responsive, highly personable, and took excellent care of the dogs. They warmed up to her quickly. She provided updates and sent pictures. We highly recommend Stephanie when you need a pet sitter.

It is important to know as much about a pet ahead of time as possible. If there are things that stress a pet out, like other people, animals, or certain activities. I want to make sure that I am aware of them and can approach situations appropriately to keep the pet as happy and calm as possible.
A typical day
I love to go for walks myself but it is so much better with a four legged companion. One of my favorite places to walk with my own dog is at Bunker Hills Regional Park.

Availability
I am currently going to school as well as working part time. My weekends are usually pretty free as I do not work or have class. On weekdays, mornings and evenings are usually pretty open for me and I would love to provide routine care for your pets at these times. My schedule changes week to week so some days may be more open than others.
