CPDT-KA Certified Dog Trainer

Pet care experience

I am a certified dog trainer who specializes in special needs dogs, particularly bite risk and “dangerous” dogs or those experiencing reactivity. I can read your dog’s body language which makes me particularly equipped to meet their needs. I am also Pet First-Aid and CPR certified and am studying towards my CBATI-KA qualification. Ask me about taking your reactive dog on a sniffy walk!

Happy Heartfelt Help <3 Steph is nothing short of amazing when it comes to taking care of my dog! Her boundless energy and enthusiasm create an environment where my dog not only receives top-notch care but also thrives on the positive vibes. From the moment I met Steph, it was clear that her love for dogs is uplifting. Her high energy is matched only by her dedication to providing exceptional care. With her lively nature, Steph takes the time to understand the unique needs and preferences of each dog, including mine. What sets Steph apart is her ability to turn every interaction into a playful experience for my pet. Whether it's time to train, time to walk, or just some quality snuggle time, Steph infuses a sense of fun and excitement that has had a remarkable impact on my dog's overall well-being. It's evident that she approaches her role not just as a job, but as a genuine passion. Steph's communication skills are also commendable. She keeps me in the loop with regular updates, sharing delightful anecdotes and pictures of the adventures she and my dog embark on together. It's heartwarming to see the genuine connection she forms with every furry friend in her care. Basically, if you're looking for a dog care provider who brings positive energy, enthusiasm, and exceptional care to the table, Steph is the one! Her good vibes enhance the overall experience for both me and my dog. I wholeheartedly trust Steph with my dog's well-being and would recommend her to anyone seeking a dedicated and spirited caregiver. Thank you, Steph, for your outstanding commitment to making every day a tail-wagging, joyful adventure for my dog! Her wiggly butt loves you!

Stephanie has been great with my girl Brin! Brin takes a minute to warm up to people, but she took to Stephanie really quickly. I also have a very needy cat who also adores her! I totally recommend Stephanie.

Amazing! She knows just how to make my pup comfortable, and Clover really enjoys walking with Stephanie. I’ve even noticed Clover is a better walker, just from having practiced with Stephanie!

Information Stephanie S. would like to know about your pet

I specialize in special dogs so I will ask for any special feeding, medical, and care instructions as well as their background and any current issues they are facing.

A typical day

We start the day off with potty breaks and breakfast, then with a morning walk or playgroup. Once they are tired, time for some enrichment to wind them down for a nap. I let dogs dictate their own potty breaks as much as possible so we continue to rotate exercise, enrichment/training and rest based on that.
