Pet care experience
I have taken care of cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters and lizards! I have experience with reactive dogs including fearful, anxious, and protective dogs. I have helped out family with dogsitting, making sure to keep to their schedules to reduce as much anxiety for their dog as possible whilst they were away.

I can highly recommend Steph for dog sitting, we had not been away for a couple of years due to our 12 year old Cavalier’s complex health needs, Steph took amazing care of her, providing her with all her medication (3 times per day) and regular eye drops, taking her for appropriate walks based on her fitness & the temperature (there was heat wave for part of our time away), I have used her a number of times and her level of care is exemplary, her love of animals is visible the minute you meet her

I have practice with crated and non crated dogs and have owned and looked after large and small dogs, and most breeds of cats so I am used to the exciting personalities of most pet breeds.

Let me know if your pets have any special requirements so I can accommodate my care to suit their needs. I have previously administred oral medication and looked after injured animals, encouraging them to be calm. I have experience with blind and deaf animals too so I can adapt to communicate with them depending on their needs.
A typical day
A typical day of dog sitting for me includes multiple 15 min playtimes inside and out, at least 1 walk including some sniff time and some running depending on the dog, and then lots of cuddles and including them in the daily activities.

Availability
I am currently working part time and wishing I had more hours. I am enthusiastic about my work and would be able to provide high quality care almost every day of the week. On the days I do my part time job (which change weekly) I can still provide walks or pop round for toilet trips after 5pm.
