Pet care experience
I'm a huge animal person, and have expertise sitting for the full size range of dogs, kitties, a parrot, tarantulas, beetles & other insects, and all the range of personalities you can imagine! I'm cautious and careful with timid or downright grumpy animals, yet I can be stern as warranted to keep discipline, per owner's discretion. My degree from UC Berkeley is in environmental science & biology so I have a good deal of relevant education as well. I love playing with animals so this is a service I'm happy to do. In my own family, we’ve had rescue cats & dogs, bengal cats, beetles, tarantulas, snakes, and more. I am also a huge plant person so am happy to take care of all your living creatures while you’re away! Cheers!

Friendly pit bulls or pit mixes are my fave to hang out with, and I also love labs, huskies, Aussie shepherds, border collies, & great danes. I used to volunteer bringing puppies to senior centers when I was younger. In high school I volunteered at a baby bird rehabilitation clinic by feeding them, and checking on their overall physical health. I've given regular oral medication to cats & dogs who were difficult, or gobbled anything down with food. I'm not scared of needles although I haven't given an injection to an animal before, I'm game to learn for any diabetic animals. I've worked in science labs so have some clinical background as well.
A typical day
I'm happy to go do any kind of outdoor activities! I know fun places to walk, and also love wrestling indoors, too.
