I was raised to love animals. I was greeted by my family’s golden retriever when I was born, and she instantly became my best friend. I was at a young age when I realized dogs didn’t live forever, and spent the next 5 years missing my golden, but getting my fix of animals by pet sitting for neighbors and family. When I was in middle school, my parents let us bring home a cockapoo who is now 14 and still loving life. I moved out of my parents house 4 years ago and miss having a dogs in my life.
