Hello. I can’t wait to meet your beautiful little spirit:-). Since the age of 15, I have been training rescue dogs and matching them with their forever families. Not only do I have experience in training, but I also have experience in grooming and training dogs to be certified as a service animal.

Stephanie is one of those special people who have a true love of animals. We have a special needs little poodle. Buddy is blind and deaf so he takes a bit more care. As soon as Buddy arrives at Stephanie’s he cuddles right up to her (he is a rescue so he usually does not like other people but us but he has bonded with Stephanie. She gives him the extra care and attention he needs. We drive 80 miles to take both our dogs to her ( she has watched him for several years when we travel. She also cares for our feisty spoiled mini Schnauzer, Charley. Charley gets excited in the car when she gets to Stephanie’s. Not sure how she knows we are getting close. Charley loves her walks. We never worry when we are gone because Stephanie treats our babies like they are hers. They like going to her place.

I live in a cul-de-sac that backs up to a farm. I always use a leash when going outside for a potty break or walk. I have high standards of order and cleanliness. Not only am I an animal pleaser, but I’m also a people pleaser. Rest, assured, I will respect and follow any specific directions you have. After all, no one knows what’s best for your little one better than you:-)

Please let me know the do’s and don’ts for your little ones. I have no problem, administering medication, clipping nails, grooming, or just working on manners. I want your dog to come home to you feeling happy and at peace.
A typical day
Typical days will include long walks, playtime, naps, and social interaction with my dogs. I always like to play calming music in the background as well…. If there is if there is anything that you want me to work on with your little one, that’s no problem. I am a retired service dog trainer.

Availability
Fortunately, I have been able to retire early from my “real” job. This will alllow me the opportunity to be with your little one full time. Daily activities will include playtime, nap time, and walks in my neighborhood. I also offer therapeutic massages for senior dogs, as their joints tend to get sore and stiff when the weather gets cold. Unlike the commercial, daycare and boarding facilities in northern Kentucky, your dog will not be caged and allowed to hang out with me all day.
