I grew up the daughter of a veterinarian. Taking care of dogs (and cats and bunnies, and birds, and....) was my entire life growing up. As soon as I got to NYC and got married, my husband and I, got our own dog. I have never not had a dog and I have never not cared for other people's dogs. Today, my teen and preteen sons help me take care of dogs. We are a dog-loving family. Your dog will love to hang out with me! I believe in going about my normal day (I am a health writer), with a dog on my lap or at my side. My kids sit on the sofa with dogs and come on walks with us. In short, your dog joins our pack while at my home. Or, while I am at your home, I treat your boy or girl with the same love and playfulness that you do!
