Pet care experience
I am an experienced pet sitter and a registered nurse. I moved from Washington state over 6 years ago and now reside and work in Seaside. I have years experience off and on petsitting. Prior getting into nursing I was an LVT (licensed veterinary tech) for approximately 10 years. Life happens so I got into nursing. So I really miss being with animals and have enjoyed partime petsitting to be with them. I have experience working on handling dogs specifically pugs for shows and have shown and had a blast. I love dogs but also enjoy all an animals and have experience with cats, large animals including horses, donkeys, goats, cows, aquariums including tropical and salt, reptiles, birds including african greys, chickens and ducks. My clients appreciate that I have vet tech experience and am able to spot problems and am good in times of emergency. Also as an experienced nurse I know and practice good infection control precautions. I work as a nurse Monday thru Friday but can be flexible. So if you need someone for your furbaby, just ask!

I would definitely recommend my dear friend, Stephanie Peters! Besides having been a dedicated, loving Licensed Veterinary Technician in the past; Stephanie is currently an RN and is very serious about giving educated efficient care to all those she is assigned to - both human and animal. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician with my own Licensed Pet sitting business myself, I can assure you I am very picky about whom I might hire to care for my pets. She has been my pet sitter for many years; and believe me, she has had to care for numerous litters of AKC boxers, purebred Siamese and Persian cats, parrots, ducks, rodents, rabbits, fish and arachnids in and at my home.... Stephanie is most definitely up for the job.... can not possible recommend more qualified than she!
Stephanie has been our dog nanny for approx. 15 years. We depend on her to feed and care for our dogs whenever we go out of town, have to work late, or when we're sick and can't do it ourselves. Stephanie's experience as a Vet Tech has meant a lot whenever there have been minor care required. Medications, bandages, etc., are all things she does without any problems. She enjoys her time with the dogs and they enjoy having her here.
