Dog-gone purrrrfect!!!!

Pet care experience

My home is cozy, warm and welcoming. I'm a long walk to Central Park and closer to several other little parks within walking distance. My home is surrounded by lots of tree-lined neighborhood streets with brownstones and lots of hydrants ;) It's vibrant but also quiet. The home is near lots of convenient groceries (to pick of pet food if need be :)). About this sitter: I have always been a petlover. I've had the pleasure of dog-sitting as well as doing cat check-ins. I know that I possess the kindness, know-how, and follow-through to be an ideal temporary companion for your pet! When we have our initial meet and greet please feel free to let me know what schedule your pup is currently on and I'll feed and walk him/her accordingly. Perhaps with a few extra walks and playtime in between ;)! Additional Information: - There are no pets of any kind or children in my home. - I can sit multiple dogs from the SAME owner OR dogs from different owners who are collectively coordinating a stay for their pets (and the dogs are already familiar with one another). There's some price flexibility when booking multiple dogs - let's discuss! - I can sit up to a maximum of 4 small dogs, three medium-sized dogs OR two large dogs. I look forward to meeting your fur baby! Thank you!

Stephanie watched our cockapoo, Marty, for a week while we were on vacation, and Marty had such a great time. Stephanie was super communicative and sent updates/photos regularly. We also did a meet and greet beforehand, so Marty could get familiar, and he was immediately in love. She was super thorough and asked tons of questions to make sure Marty had a nice stay, which he sure did. We will definitely be using Stephanie again in the future!

Stephanie took great care of Haku :) it was the longest we’d been apart from him on vacation but he seemed to be right at home with her and looks like he had a great time from the photos she kept us updated with.

Stephanie was great with my dog. Communication was easy and she updated with lots of pictures. Will definitely be using her to pet sit again.

Stephanie was great with our two doggies while we were out of town. We were able to sit back and enjoy our vacation, knowing our babies were taken care of.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet will pretty much have free range of my apartment. I have a good amount of floor space for relaxation and playtime. I’m also comfortable with crates if you’re crate training or your pet is already crate-trained). I always walk all of my fur friends on leash (even if they are off-leash trained) for their safety unless it’s within off-leash hours at an off-leash location (and at the direction/discretion/preference of pet parents). On particularly hot days, I try to carry a travel bowl and water during walks. I also have A/C which pups and people seem to enjoy in NYC’s humid summers!

Information Stephanie P. would like to know about your pet

It’s helpful for me to know if your dog has any aggression towards people, and other dogs while we’re out walking. It’s also helpful to know about their bathroom habits (frequency, preferred type of locations, etc.) and any chewing/destructive tendencies or issues. Also, if there are any medications or topical ointments, etc. that need to be applied, a detailed explanation would be excellent.

A typical day

We can play catch or keep away and any other games/toys you chose to bring during your pets stay. While I guide the walks, I do allow pups the freedom to explore the many sights and smells that pique their interest (within reason lol!). There are several tree-lined streets for shade on hot days for walking or we could go for a walk in Central Park or get to know other dogs at one of the city’s many dog runs.
